Indo-Pacific Data-Sharing to Counter Regional Threats

Climate Change | Natural and Man-Made Disasters | Deterrence | Conflict

HONOLULU — January 5, 2024— The Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR) today announced its first Pacific Collaboration in Technology (PaCT) program in Honolulu from February 5 to 6 2024 at the Ala Moana Hotel.
The PaCT program defines challenges, solutions, and acquisition pipelines for responses to natural and man-made disasters ranging from climate change and disasters to illegal fishing, critical infrastructure threats, and conflict. Unlike typical conferences, it offers customized engagements and itineraries and features coming-soon requirements through its breakout sessions and platform.

PaCT will engage government, industry, and private capital providers from the U.S., Japan, Australia, and Pacific Island nations.
The February 5-6 program focuses on requirements and acquisition of data-sharing solutions that increase interoperability across the region. Both private and government funding for solutions are featured as both are needed to bolster surge capacity at the speed and scale required to meet projected threats.

PaCT provides expert keynote speakers, acquisition and rapid contracting experts, unique panel sessions on emergent requirements, new technology solutions from Japan, the U.S., and Australia, curated networking opportunities, facilitated meetings, and post-event connections.
